Let's broaden the narrative around women's empowerment from the thinking, logic and strategic capacity of the brain, to the multidimensional ways of knowing through the senses of our body and the field of the whole being. But why? And what would the benefit be…?
The power of The Artist's Way Women's Circles
The Artist's Way is one of those encounters that can circle your life a while before you are even aware, or perhaps ready, to commit to the process. Women come to my Circles with stories of having started the book, only to abandon it in the third chapter. Some were lead by a friend, or it popping up on their radar by way of an acquaintance. Others come, having never heard of the book, hardly knowing me or my work, but an instinct - or what I would call 'body knowing'- compels them to join…
Connecting to calm in uncertain times
It’s likely that instinct will kick in during crisis, and I know I can often default to ‘fix-it' mode where my body goes into auto-pilot. This is when the idea of 'wellbeing' seems to slip away - nothing more than a distant memory as I work fast to satisfy the demands of my whirring mind. What I now know to be the best, and most sustainable course of 'action' in crisis times, is to get out of my head and resist my ego's (insatiable) hunger for control.

5 tips for more calm, more often
Showing up is everything when it comes to cultivating a new habit and rewiring our brains. Practice is the only way to develop something too. We all know that. I guess then it’s just the motivation that is in question.

We are living hyper-tethered lives. Constantly connected, either ourselves streaming or being streamed to, with the world at our fingertips, and in our beds at night.
